Bio: Just like many of the horses at the ranch, Cascade is named after a place in Montana. This is done to help us remember the many blessings God has given us in the past and to recognize how they continue to influence our ministry today. The name Cascade comes from a small town where Bev and Curt once lived, but it has special meaning to them as the place where they came to know Christ as their Savior. It is our desire to share Christ with each person that steps foot on our ranch so that they also can experience a personal relationship with Him. Cascade is a bay horse but she has a unique dark coloring to her whole body. At first glance she looks chocolate brown or even black. She is closely related to the famous stallion Shining Spark who was a world champion Reining horse. Even with no reining training, this quality lineage can be seen in the way Cascade moves. She has a natural ability to both stop and spin quickly.
